The right candidate will be responsible for providing a friendly, welcoming and efficient service to all hotel guests.
Responsibilities Include:
* Front of house duties, including meeting, greeting and attending to the guests requirements while at all times delivering an excellent customer experience.
* To deal with guest requests to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay.
* Responsible for accurate and efficient guest billing and billing procedures.
* To assist in keeping the hotel reception area clean and tidy at all times.
* To ensure that all reservations and cancellations are processed efficiently.
* Flexibility around working hours.
* Assisting Front Office Manager with the day to day running of reception.
Skills and Experience Required:
* A friendly and welcoming approach.
* Previous 2years minimum experience in a front office or administrative role.
* High standards of dress and presentation.
* Ability to remain calm during difficult situations or in a very busy environment.
* Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including a pleasant telephone manner.
* Excellent administrative skills and the ability to use email and booking systems.
* Good team working skills.
* Revenue Driven whilst yield managing rates.
* Knowledge of Guestline or Equivalent PMS system.
