(aligned to the Workshop Supervisor/Instructor, Senior salary scale)
Fulltime Permanent, 39 hour working week
Salary:
The 11-point salary scale for the post as of 01/08/2025:
A new appointee to any grade starts at the minimum point of the scale.
Incremental credit will be applied for recognised relevant service in Ireland (Department of Health Circular ******).
Incremental credit is normally granted on appointment, in respect of previous experience in the Civil Service, Local Authorities, Health Service and other Public Service Bodies and Statutory Agencies.
Qualifications, experience required:
A relevant third level qualification in the area of Health and Social Care is essential
Experience of working with people who have complex needs / Intellectual Disability is essential
Applicants must have the right to work in Ireland and hold up to date, valid employment permissions
Full Driver's licence is essential
Person centred in their approach; really listen to what people we support communicate
Community based support experience
Familiarity with relevant policies on day services
Ability to develop and implement person centred programmes
Good communication and people skills
Excellent organisational and planning skills
Confidentiality and a focus on dignity when providing care
Excellent team working skills and the ability to motivate others
Ability to co-ordinate timetables, activities and plans based on the needs of the people we support
