Supportive Community Outreach Worker
Job Description
We are a provider of services and support for people with disabilities and their families. Our mission is to promote independent living, community integration, personal development, and work opportunities that meet the needs and choices of our service users.
This role will involve delivering person-centered, community-based supports and activities to individuals with intellectual, physical, and mental health challenges. These supports facilitate social, occupational, and learning experiences.
You will be working closely with our team to plan, develop, implement, monitor, and review educational, recreational, and occupational programs within the community. You will also ensure best practice in line with up-to-date research regarding Quality of Life improvements.
Requirements
* A minimum of one year's experience working in social care, specifically disability services.
* A third-level qualification (QQI5 or higher) in Social Care, preferably.
* Experience of working 1:1 in the community and supporting individuals with intellectual, physical, and mental health challenges.
* A full clean driving license.
