A leading Tier 1 main contractor is hiring a Site Manager for a major £10m+ project in Waterford. This is a permanent opportunity to join a high‑performing team delivering high‑quality, multi‑million builds with clear progression.
Key responsibilities
Drive EHS, QA/QC and programme on site, maintaining best‑in‑class standards and records
Manage PMP/ITP compliance, BIM inspections/close‑out, daily diaries, QA sheets and NCRs
Produce short‑term subcontractor programmes and input to weekly progress reporting
Maintain commercial discipline: understand subcontract scopes, manage material call‑offs/GRNs, and control dayworks/instructions
Lead inductions/RAMS compliance (incl. CSCS checks), plus welfare, security and stakeholder liaison
Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, consultants, Building Control and statutory bodies
Requirements
Construction‑related degree
5–10+ years with a main contractor (Ireland/UK) on £10m+ projects
