Oracle Developer - Daily Rate Contract 6 month initial contract, Hybrid, Dublin About the Company My client is an international financial services organisation with an excellent culture and with a reputation as a great place to work.
They operate a hybrid model with three days on site in their Dublin offices.
About the Position My client is currently looking to add a number of talented Oracle Developers to their Finance Technology team, working on core finance functions such as general ledger, accounts payable, fixed assets, client profitability, corporate tax, planning/forecasting, funds transfer pricing, and regulatory ideal candidate/s willhave a proven track record working on large scale multi-year enterprise technology programs/projects.
This position is for an experienced developer and you will have the opportunity to work on delivering a strategic technology platform which has an exciting roadmap of future enhancements.
Key Responsibilities Rewriting/migrating functionality in some of the existing reference data systems to our strategic platforms.
Building tools to reduce time to market for onboarding new feeds including data quality monitoring, data reconciliation and automated test tools.
Adding new features to the core reference data platform to manage data quality and analytics.
Develop new features in our strategic platforms.
In addition, you may occasionally be providing third level support for the applications.
You will also be expected to gain an understanding of the business data domain and perform analysis when necessary.
Experience/Requirements Strong Oracle development skills (PL/SQL), 8 years+, for large scale databases, including index strategies, partitioning, performance tuning, optimization and stored procedures.
Understanding of financial products and asset classes, ideally with regulatory reporting experience Agile development experience Remuneration Package €400 - €550 per day depending on experience.
Contracts are likely to extend.
