Veterinary Receptionist
Anicare Vets, Santry
Full-time or Part-time | Permanent
Salary €14.15 per hour
Start date: February 2026
Love animals, enjoy helping people, and want a role where you're truly part of the team?
Anicare Vets is looking for a friendly, organised Veterinary Receptionist to join our warm and welcoming practice in Santry. This is a key front-of-house role where you'll be the reassuring voice on the phone, the friendly face at the desk, and an important part of the day-to-day life of the clinic.
No two days are the same here. It's a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, multitasking, and working as part of a supportive, close-knit team who genuinely care about their clients, patients and each other.
The Role & Working Pattern
We are happy to consider full-time or part-time applications, with flexible hours and days available for the right candidate. Full-time role is Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 7pm (flexible shifts).
You'll may be required to work one in three Saturdays from time to time if cover required and this will be included in your 40 hours per week. There is no night work, no Sundays and no bank holidays, making this an excellent option for someone looking for balance alongside a busy and rewarding role.
What the Role Involves
As our Veterinary Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for clients, providing a calm, professional and friendly welcome in a fast-paced mixed animal practice. Your responsibilities will include managing appointments using our booking system, handling incoming calls and queries, processing payments and end-of-day cash procedures, and supporting the smooth daily operation of the practice.
You'll also assist with stock control and deliveries (including light lifting), maintain high standards of cleanliness across front-of-house areas, and support the wider team with general administrative tasks. Building product knowledge will be part of the role, helping you confidently assist clients with queries and recommendations.
