Operations Manager - Facilities Expertise
* Oversee the day-to-day provision of facilities management services across multiple locations.
* Coordinate in-house and outsourced teams to deliver services in accordance with service level agreements and key performance indicators.
* Monitor planned preventative maintenance activities and respond to urgent maintenance needs as required.
* Evaluate compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.
* Drive operational performance, manage budgets, and optimize resource utilization.
* Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and service providers.
* Lead and develop site-based managers and teams, conducting performance evaluations and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
* Manage capital projects including equipment upgrades and asset replacements.
* Contribute to the Emergency Response and Business Continuity planning teams.
A degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience managing facilities contracts and leading operational teams is essential. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills are also critical. Holding certifications such as IOSH/NEBOSH and membership of professional bodies (e.g., BIFM, CIBSE) is desirable.
