Site Manager School Construction Project (County Meath) We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a school construction project in County Meath.
This is a key role on a live education project, requiring strong leadership, coordination, and a focus on quality and safety.
Role & Responsibilities Day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to specification Coordination and supervision of subcontractors, direct labour, and suppliers Implementation and monitoring of health & safety procedures on site Liaison with the project manager, design team, client representatives, and local authorities Ensuring compliance with building regulations, planning conditions, and contract requirements Managing site documentation, reports, and quality control records Driving programme milestones and resolving site issues efficiently Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects (school or public works experience an advantage) Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and health & safety legislation Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills Ability to manage multiple trades and deadlines in a live environment Relevant construction qualification (e.g. Trade background, Construction Management, or equivalent) Valid Safe Pass and Manual Handling certificates (PSCS experience desirable) What We Offer Opportunity to work on a high-profile education project Competitive salary package, commensurate with experience Supportive and professional project team Potential for further projects upon successful completion
