Job Title: Commodity Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Commodity Manager to join our global team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commodity strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the quality and cost of commodities meet business needs.
As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a critical role in driving business results through effective commodity management. Your expertise in commodity markets and ability to negotiate with suppliers will be essential in achieving our goals.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, economics, supply chain management)
* Minimum 8 years of professional experience in a related field, preferably in commodity management or procurement
* Expertise in commodity markets, including metals, electronics manufacturing services (EMS), plastics, and other relevant areas
* Proven track record of defining and executing commodity strategies that deliver savings and drive business growth
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
* Ability to travel up to 20% and work effectively in an agile environment
