The Role
* Design, build and test Workday custom applications, ensuring quality and performance from concept through to deployment.
* Lead discovery and design workshops, creatively implementing client requirements using Workday Extend, Prism, and integrations.
* Help refine development approaches and build team capability.
* Produce technical designs that are consistent, maintainable, and efficient.
* Translate complex technical concepts into simple, clear language for clients.
* Bring curiosity and innovation to solve complex business challenges.
The Person
* Experience with custom application development platforms.
* Strong knowledge of web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and security/authentication methods (OAuth, JWT, SAML, etc.).
* Background in technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design.
* Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Problem-solver with a passion for delivering excellent client service.
* Experience in Platform-as-a-Service or custom web application implementations.
