KildareTeam: International Pre‑ConstructionWorking Pattern: Full-time, office-basedStart Date: ASAPAn international engineering and construction company is seeking a highly organised and detail‑driven Bid Coordinator to support its pre‑construction function. The role plays a critical part in coordinating the bid and tender process from initial enquiry through to final submission, ensuring all proposals are high quality, compliant, competitive, and delivered on time.Working closely with estimators, planners, project managers, designers, and commercial teams, the Bid Coordinator will act as the central point of coordination for all bid activity across a range of complex construction projects.ResponsibilitiesSupport the bid and tendering process from initial enquiry through to submissionReview and coordinate CSA design drawings and technical specificationsCoordinate the preparation and submission of PQQs, tenders, and other bid documentationReview client tender documents and requirements to develop clear submission timelines and action plansLiaise with internal stakeholders (estimating, design, commercial, delivery teams) to gather required bid informationEnsure submissions are compliant with client specifications, internal governance procedures, and deadlinesManage bid schedules, submission portals, and client correspondenceMaintain and update the bid library, including CVs, project case studies, and standard responsesProofread, format, and quality‑check bid documents for clarity, consistency, and brandingProvide support during post‑tender clarifications, interviews, and presentations where requiredTrack and report on bid status, success rates, and lessons learnedAssist with the development of marketing and capability materials as neededManage document control during the tender process, ensuring accurate version control and availabilitySupport the efficient handover of successful bids to project delivery teamsIdentify and monitor upcoming tender opportunities via industry portals (e.g. CIS, ProTenders)Assist estimators in issuing supply chain enquiries and monitoring returnsQualifications & SkillsPrevious experience in a Bid Coordinator, Proposal Coordinator, or similar roleExperience within construction, engineering, or the built environment is strongly preferredStrong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to work under pressureGood understanding of construction terminology and tendering processesProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with InDesign or similar tools is advantageousStrong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teamsProactive, flexible, and professional approach to workWhat’s on OfferA key role within an established international construction businessExposure to a diverse portfolio of complex, high‑value projectsOpportunity for long‑term career development within pre‑construction and bid managementCompetitive salary and benefits package
