Main Responsibilities:
* Oversee the entire software development lifecycle.
* Design system architecture and write clean, efficient code.
* Interpret and analyze data to manage the implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing ones.
* Monitor software and system performance; lead testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and full project lifecycle including planning, design, build, and documentation.
* Share key project updates with team members and foster collaboration among mechanical and electrical engineering teams.
* Define and implement software validation strategies and testing procedures.
* Liaise with clients and cross-functional teams to communicate project progress and proposals.
* Utilize best practices and problem-solving methodologies to improve systems and processes.
* Innovate and contribute to the evolution of company technologies and system architecture.
* Plan and execute projects with clear timelines and deliverables.
Requirements:
* Hands-on experience with Beckhoff PLC programming is highly desirable.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controls engineering role.
* Strong command of modern development tools and technologies.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Proven ability to organize, communicate effectively, and manage responsibilities.
* A passion for mentoring engineers across different experience levels.
* Deep interest in software engineering and fostering strong technical teams.
* Experience in project management, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work alongside top-tier colleagues.
* Quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially when handling complex systems.
* Proficient in creating and executing unit, integration, system, and performance tests.
* Highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative — a positive team-player attitude is essential.
