Essential Skills & Knowledge Requirements: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Strong technical background, ideally in substation engineering, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar engineering or sales role. Experience in contract negotiation and/or execution. Proven ability to develop technical and commercial proposals. Strong planning, multitasking, and time management abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Possession of a full, valid drivers licence. Key Responsibilities: Follow up with clients and relevant platforms to obtain Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and related documentation. Review and analyse RFP documents to understand all specifications; request clarifications or conduct site visits if necessary. Gather and coordinate all required technical, pricing, and delivery informationinternally and externallyto support proposal preparation. Develop technical and commercial proposals, considering client requirements, company capabilities, and best practices. Identify potential risks within proposals and client contracts; contribute to risk assessment reviews. Compile and validate internal approvals for proposals. Submit proposals through designated platforms or other accepted channels. Track proposal progress and respond to client queries or requests during the evaluation phase.
