Opportunity for a Document Controller to join the Life Science team in Dublin for Maternity Cover.
The Document Controller will manage the Project Document Management system and digital field tool, implementing information management strategies and providing training and support to project teams and end users.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing and hosting VFP and FV training sessions for new users within the project team, either with groups or on an individual basis.
* Acting as the main point of contact for support and coaching of project users of VFP and FV, including third parties such as client teams, designers, subcontractors.
* Developing project file naming protocols with the information systems manager and project team, in line with DPD protocols.
* Developing workflows alongside ISM, and managing throughout the project lifecycle, with direction from the project team, in line with DPD procedures.
* Creating forms, tasks, etc., on DFT (FV) in line with DPD procedures and site requirements.
* Configuring and implementing change control processes within the CDE.
* Validating, checking, and curating all incoming and outgoing project documentation to the CDE, including receipt, classification, verification, registry, distribution, and retrieval.
* Configuring and preparing status reports on workflows, sample submissions, TQs, RFIs, and other reportable data.
* Preparing and configuring distribution matrices in compliance with project requirements.
* Establishing and maintaining central site files, uncontrolled drawings, and registers.
* Collating operation and maintenance, health and safety, quality, environmental, BCAR files.
* Attending meetings to engage with team and stakeholders.
* Working on projects with large volumes of data from various sources.
* Having advanced experience with a CDE and DFT.
* Effectively communicating with and educating stakeholders on DPD protocols, ensuring adherence.
* Dealing with multidisciplinary design teams, client teams, subcontractors, and the wider supply chain.
* Understanding naming conventions to ISO 19650.
* Being an advanced user of Microsoft Office suite, VFP, and FV or similar platforms.
* Having knowledge of BS 1192, PAS 1192, or ISO 19650.
