The role involves maintenance and operation of the site, requiring due diligence, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.The Plant Manager will have complete responsibility for the management of the facility, the associated treatment processes, and personnel. The role will have responsibility for ensuring that all work is carried out accurately within defined constraints, such as time and budget, and with due diligence.The role will involve effective communication and interaction with management, team members, clients, and suppliers so as to ensure that deliverables and company goals are achieved. In executing the role it is paramount that Health & Safety, Ethical and Quality requirements, both legislative and company-specific, are fully respected and taken into account.Day to day of the role:Monitoring and controlling the day to day operation of the treatment plant, in accordance with site O&M Plan, to optimise plant performance and ensure compliance with contractual requirementsPreparation of Monthly PMS reports detailing plant performance, and significant plant activitiesOrganisation of all planned and unplanned maintenance and repair activities through use of the CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) to ensure optimum plant performance and equipment lifeSourcing and dealing with equipment Vendors for fault finding/equipment repair, plant improvementsPreparation and implementation of Method Statements and Risk Assessments to ensure safe work practices by staff and subcontractorsManagement of site staff and subcontractors, including management of call-outroster and response to emergency breakdownsUse of remote monitoring tools as appropriate to verify plant condition.
