Barden have been appointed to identify an ambitious senior finance professional to take on a newly created Finance Director role in Cork. This is a highly influential role where you will have complete ownership over strategic partnerships within this global company.
This is a high impact leadership position within a very innovative organisation. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders within finance and cross functionally as well as with external parties to help drive efficiencies and business performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE
* Lead financial reporting across the function, ensuring timely, accurate reporting to support decision-making and meet stakeholder expectations.
* Own all financial aspects of new global partnerships, including accounting, compliance, and operational alignment to support growth.
* Provide business insights to executive leadership, using data and financial analysis to support key decisions and influence strategy.
* Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and growth.
* Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes aligned to business goals, ensuring plans are strategic, flexible, and well-informed.
* Support internal and external audits as needed, ensuring financial transparency and effective control management.
ABOUT THE PERSON
* Strong academic background (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA etc) with extensive experience in a relevant financial or commercial role.
* Proven leadership skills with experience developing and managing high-performing teams.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational abilities with strong attention to detail.
* Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, showing adaptability and ownership.
