Artificial Intelligence Engineer
The Artificial Intelligence Engineering Team within Business Insights and Technology partners with the GPS organization to design, develop and operationalize AI/Gen AI, and Decision Intelligence capabilities. We focus on answering key business questions that will drive prioritized business decisions using advanced AI capabilities.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in AI, ML, and staying current with the latest developments in a rapidly changing field. As an AI professional, you will be expected to have a passion for designing, building, implementing, and maintaining industrial AI applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement scalable AI solutions to address complex pharmaceutical business challenges.
* Develop new AI/Gen AI tools aligned with business objectives and ensure they are operationalized effectively.
* Build and optimize AI agents that can autonomously handle complex tasks, make decisions, and deliver insights in real-time.
* Develop, integrate, and continuously improve AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants to support employees across various teams.
* Focus on augmenting the decision-making capabilities of leadership teams by providing AI-powered insights that inform strategic initiatives for GPS.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
* Conduct thorough testing and validation of AI models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Qualifications & Experience
The minimum qualifications for this role include:
* A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working in AI or ML, data science, data integration, and reporting.
* A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with LLMs.
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, or equivalent is required.
* Experience with cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure, Google AI, etc.).
* Proficiency in Python/R and SQL.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred qualifications for this role include:
* A master's degree in computer science, information systems, computer engineering, data science, or a related technical field.
* Experience with AI applications in a regulated environment, such as health care, biotech, or pharmaceuticals.
* Proven track record of development of AI projects from conception to deployment, including stakeholder management and delivering impactful results.
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary range of $95,970-$116,300 (NJ, USA) and $57,080-$70,000 (Dublin), plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). Benefits include medical, pharmacy, dental, and vision care, wellbeing support, financial well-being resources, and more.
