Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with a build construction firm based in Tullamore on the appointment of a Procurement lead.
If you have been working at a senior level for a minimum of two years and are ready to take the next step in your career, this could be the perfect move for you.
Responsibilities in your new role:
* Sourcing and buying a wide range of materials, ensuring all materials are on site and on time to ensure the smooth day to day running of the operation
* Negotiate best price and lead times with new and existing suppliers will continually monitoring performance and ensuring all materials meet the standards required
* Frequently liaise with site managers, project teams, and quantity surveyors to forecast materials required
* Monitor delivery schedules and stock levels, again to ensure the smooth day to day running of the operation
* Work with a continuous improvement mindset, implementing process improvement and cost reduction projects
What you will need to succeed:
* A minimum of 5 years procurement experience, 2 of which at a senior level
* Proficient with software packages as well as all Microsoft office packages
This role will offer the opportunity of stepping in to a Procurement Management position.
