Accenture provides integrated finance and accounting services to a large global technology corporation, across six global delivery locations. The engagement spans one hundred and twenty-five countries and includes over five hundred individual roles worldwide incorporating thirty-six languages. In Dublin, a local twelve-person team supports the client operation with Record to Report processes.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE
To support the team lead and manage the day to day delivery for all intercompany related tasks as a point of contact for reporting and month-end accounting processes for a large multinational client.
We are looking for strong accountant who can hit the ground running and ideally candidates who have a strong background in:
* intercompany accounting
* dealing with multiple stakeholders
* journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations
* FX experience
* Support statistical reporting
General responsibilities
* Ensuring all intercompany imbalances are investigated and cleared to agreed SLA's
* Perform ad hoc duties that will occur from time to time
* Assist Team Lead with month end close activities as the need arises
* Updating and maintaining desktop procedures as processes evolve and change
* Assist with audit and stakeholder queries
Requirements:
* University degree in business, accounting or finance
* Studying an Accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA, ACCA)
* 2 to 5 years of experience in an accounting/finance environment
* Experience in working to tight deadlines
* Knowledge of SAP or similar accounting package required
* Knowledge of MS Office products, including Word and PowerPoint
* Excellent excel skills a necessity
