Job Description
The Head of Conservation provides visionary leadership in safeguarding and preserving the Chester Beatty’s internationally renowned collection. Reporting to the Head of Collections, this important role sets strategic vision, administrative oversight, and expert guidance for all conservation initiatives, ensuring the highest ethical and professional standards in the care, treatment, analysis and study of the objects. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled conservator, an inspiring leader with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for the arts, and the ability to project manage both day‑to‑day and long‑term operations within the Conservation Department.
