Estimator Joinery Contractor Location: County Down Salary: £40,000 £55,000 (DOE) Our client is a well-established joinery contractor based in County Down, known for delivering high-quality bespoke joinery solutions across commercial, residential, and fit-out projects. Due to continued growth, theyre looking to bring an Estimator on board to support their busy tendering team. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed estimates, cost plans, and tender submissions. Analyse drawings, specifications, and other project documentation. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing. Review and compare material and labour costs to ensure accuracy. Support the commercial team in pricing variations and value engineering. Maintain and update tender logs and databases. Requirements Proven experience as an Estimator, ideally within a joinery, fit-out, or construction environment. Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tenders in a fast-paced setting. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office.
