This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example, supervising bar staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining stock and cleanliness standards, and taking responsibility for opening and closing the bar.
You'll work closely with the Duty Manager and General Manager to ensure smooth, efficient, and professional service throughout every shift.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day bar operations and ensure smooth running of each shift.
Lead, motivate, and support bar staff to deliver excellent service and maintain brand standards.
Prepare and serve drinks including draught beer, cocktails, wines, and spirits.
Handle customer queries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
Ensure accurate till operation, cash handling, and end-of-shift reconciliations.
Manage stock rotation, deliveries, and product quality control.
Maintain a clean, organised, and compliant bar environment at all times.
Take responsibility for opening and closing duties, including security checks, float management, and handover reporting.
Support colleagues across other departments (floor, shop, or deli) when required during staff breaks or peak periods.
Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety, and HACCP requirements.
About You
Minimum 2 years' experience in a bar or hospitality supervisory role.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Reliable, professional, and confident handling responsibility for opening/closing duties.
Knowledge of bar operations, EPOS systems, and cash control procedures.
Positive attitude with strong customer service focus.
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Must have valid permission to work in Ireland.
