Sales Executive A well-established and leading organisation who provide energy management services to clients spanning all sectors of industry, business and commerce, are currently seeking a Sales Executive to join their team based in Dundonald due to continued growth.
This is a Full-Time, Permanent Position.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (this role is office based with regular travel to customer sites).
With a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Job Role: You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing sales opportunities with commercial and industrial energy users.
The role focuses on customer engagement, opportunity development, and early-stage site understanding, while working closely with the companies Projects and Engineering teams to progress opportunities through more detailed technical assessment.
The role will also support the company's growth by identifying potential locations for internal energy projects and feeding these into the internal project pipeline.
Essential Criteria: Previous sales or customer-facing experience Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels Ability to manage technical and non-technical discussions Confidence in face-to-face engagement Willingness to travel Full UK driving licence Desirable Criteria: Degree in Business-related discipline Degree in Engineering or technical field Interest in energy or infrastructure projects Main Duties and Responsibilities: Identify and develop new sales opportunities Manage opportunities from initial contact through to proposal stage Build and maintain strong customer relationships Represent the company professionally during customer meetings and site visits Carry out site visits to understand operations and energy usage Gather initial site and operational information Explain the company's solutions in a clear, practical manner Identify when detailed technical input is required Request and coordinate in-depth site surveys and technical reports from Projects/Engineering Team Act as main customer contact during technical assessment Support opportunity progression through internal liaison Identify potential sites for internal company energy projects Engage site owners to assess feasibility and interest Feed opportunities into the company's project pipeline Work closely with the Commercial Manager Liaise with Projects, Engineering, and Commercial teams Maintain accurate CRM and internal records Office-based training on company offerings On-the-job mentoring from Commercial Manager Accompanied site visits Ongoing technical and commercial support
