LVIA Specialist Opportunity
Our organization is seeking a skilled LVIA Specialist to join their team. This role involves working on a variety of projects, from renewable energy and infrastructure to commercial developments, assessing and managing landscape and visual impacts.
The ideal candidate will have experience with LVIA processes and relevant software tools, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team as well as independently manage tasks.
A degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Planning, Geography, or a related discipline is required. Additionally, a good understanding of current guidelines and best practices for LVIA is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Conducting Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments for diverse projects
* Visiting sites to collect data and photographs to support assessments
* Creating maps, photomontages, and 3D visualizations using GIS, CAD, and related software
* Preparing clear and engaging reports and presentations
* Participating in community engagement and occasionally presenting at public meetings
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Planning, Geography, or a related discipline
* Experience with LVIA processes and relevant software tools
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* The ability to work well within a team as well as independently manage tasks
* A good understanding of current guidelines and best practices for LVIA
