At Dornan we are currently recruiting for MEP Construction Manager to work as part of the Agnostic/Preconstruction team, supporting the overall Critical Infrastructure Department.
The role is primarily based in the Cork Head office with periodic visits to the relevant construction sites. The role is pivotal in ensuring that Agnostics/Preconstruction teams deliverable both on and off site are delivered on programme, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Your day to day will include:

Design assist Projects
Mock up
Small scale construction / retrofit projects
Preconstruction on Hyperscale
Product development
What we are looking for:
Strong technical understanding of MEP systems, installation methodologies, and commissioning processes
Awareness of commercial implications of project decisions
Thorough understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance, especially for MEP-related works
Insight into both the construction industries & Dornan team capabilities and efficient labour deployment
Proven experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and complex project interfaces.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Proficient in project management tools, scheduling software, and MS Office Suite.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
Strong organisational and coordination skills.
Ability to multitask across office and site environments.
