Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Sales & Events Manager at Charleville Park Hotel.
The Role
The Sales and Events Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of sales, and events activities to drive revenue and promote the hotel's brand.
This role reports to Hotel General Manager and works closely with the Group Business Development Manager and involves a strong focus on Reactive Sales, Proactive Sales activity, Events Co-ordination, Networking, and Local and In-house Marketing efforts.
The Ideal Person
would be a self-motivated, results-oriented individual with a passion for sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry and the local market.
Knowledge of Hotsoft would be an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Reactive Sales
Proactive Sales Activity
Sales and Promotional Plan
Sales Meetings and Improvement
Events Coordination
Networking and Relationship Building
Local and In-house Marketing
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Achieve and exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Some weekend work is required occasionally to attend sales events /trade shows

Requirements
Proven experience in sales and events management within the hotel industry.
Strong market knowledge and communication skills.
Results-driven and able to work independently and in a team.
Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Knowledge of local market trends and competitors.
