Restaurant Floor Management Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing front-of-house service operations, ensuring high hospitality standards are consistently met. This will involve motivating team members to uphold the restaurant's standards of service and professionalism.
A hands-on approach and deep understanding of restaurant flow are essential requirements. Strong leadership, communication, and multitasking skills are also necessary. Effective coordination with kitchen management, staff briefings, floor plans, and section allocations will be key aspects of this role.
Managing bookings, walk-ins, and seating efficiency while maintaining guest comfort is a crucial responsibility. Till systems, end-of-day cash-up, and reporting must be overseen, as well as stock levels of key service items and floor appearance, cleanliness, and organisation. Collaboration with management on staff rotas, performance reviews, and training schedules is essential. Supporting onboarding of new staff and ongoing service training is also required.
