Applications are invited for the following position:
Senior Psychologist
Location: East Limerick Children’s Services
*Salary is subject to relevant public sector experience and pro-rated for hours worked.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A recognised university degree or diploma with first or second class honours, with Psychology as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject.
2. A postgraduate professional qualification in psychology recognized by the Psychological Society of Ireland.
3. At least 5 years of post-graduate experience as a professional psychologist, with no more than three years spent obtaining the postgraduate qualification, and at least two years of full-time post-qualification experience.
4. Possess the knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of duties, including experience working with children with intellectual disabilities, with or without autism, who experience mental health difficulties or behaviours of concern.
5. Applicants with qualifications obtained outside Ireland must provide a validation certificate from the Department of Health.
6. Possess Level 2 behavioral competencies of the Avista competency framework, available on the last page of the job description.

As a Senior Psychologist, you will join the East Limerick Children’s Disability team (0-18) and collaborate with a motivated interdisciplinary team.
