Overview
The Production supervisor will be responsible for the production lines. This role will require a self-motivated individual with a drive for process improvements. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for setting and achieving the daily, weekly and monthly KPI's set for the team, while ensuring that safety and quality standards of all products are to the highest standard possible. This role is based at our clients Headquarters in North, Co Galway
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 2-3 yrs. experience leading a production team is essential
2. Ability to organise and manage daily activities in a fast-paced production floor
3. Experience of hitting daily, weekly and monthly production targets
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Good technical and mechanical knowledge
6. Problem solver that is solution's driven
7. Attention to detail is key for this role
8. Confident and commercially aware
Responsibilities
9. Oversee and supervise the performance of the production floor
10. Responsible for setting and achieving daily/weekly targets for each production line aligning these with the company's quarterly forecast
11. Motivate and support the production team to hit targets
12. Responsible for production workflow and KPI's, driving process improvements
13. Hold daily PIT meetings to ensure performance targets are monitored and any issues addressed
14. Report on and highlight quality issues
15. Meet with the Operation's team to report on KPI's and production floor performance
16. Promote lean projects and 6S methodology on the production floor
17. Cooperate with the technical team and share information across the organisation
18. Ensure strict adherence to all Health and Safety Rules & Procedures
