Role Overview
The Dublin office is seeking to appoint a Tax Director. The role is suited to an ambitious tax professional with at least five years of experience at manager level in practice, comfortable working closely with partners, senior management and contributing to the development of a growing team. This position offers a strong mix of compliance and advisory work with a clear pathway to Partner for the right individual.
Responsibilities
Managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of SME clients
Coordinating team workflows to ensure timely delivery of corporate tax compliance across a broad client base
Managing and reviewing a portfolio of personal tax clients
Leading a range of advisory assignments, including planning and structuring work
Leading revenue audit assignments across various tax heads
Supporting departmental financial objectives and fee development
Mentoring junior team members and contributing to internal training
Strengthening client relationships and supporting business development
Working with partners on technical development and practice growth
Job Requirements
CTA qualified with at least five years of experience at manager level in practice
Strong experience managing tax compliance portfolios and ensuring quality, accuracy and deadlines
Exposure to tax consultancy assignments and delivering practical advisory solutions
Strong technical knowledge of Irish tax legislation, commentary and case law, particularly for SME clients
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational, planning and time‑management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
High level of computer literacy
