Job Role
The Orthopaedic Sales Specialist is responsible for achieving sales and market share objectives by selling and demonstrating a range of Medical Devices to a large customer base of hospitals across the territory.
* Establish strong relationships with key customers to create lasting business partnerships.
* Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
* Provide technical assistance and support to customers on clinical, commercial, and product-related inquiries.
* Develop strategic plans and implement initiatives to grow business in the assigned area.
* Identify new business opportunities and assess potential clients and markets.
* Offer valuable feedback on customers, promotional programs, and market trends to improve product and company performance.
* Liaise with stakeholders to execute new product launches and corporate activities within the assigned region.
* Attend relevant conferences and meetings to stay updated on industry developments.
Essential Skills
* 2-5 years of hospital sales experience in ortho surgical sales or equivalent.
* Alternatively, 2-3 years of nursing (RGN) or ortho scrub nurse experience, or 2-3 years in surgical ortho medical device R&D.
* Or 5+ years of hospital-based physiotherapy experience with extensive knowledge of surgical ortho and a network of ortho surgeons in the territory.
* Specific experience with surgical orthopaedic devices is essential.
* Clean driving license required.
