What will you do:Provide care to patients presenting with a range of urgent care presentationsTreat patients who attend the clinic for consultation, aged from 12monthsMinor injuries; including: sprains, fractures and woundsMinor illnesses Initial interpretation of x-rays and ECGs Facilitating referrals to ED/ specialists where indicatedWhat you need to be successful Education & ExperienceRegistered with the Irish Medical Council.Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience in clinical practice, including significant experience in general practice and a minimum of 2 years recent urgent care/ emergency medicine experience.Training in emergency medicine, general practice or other postgraduate qualification would be highly beneficial.6 months experience with paediatric patients is desirable.
