Auxilia Group Recruitment is hiring an experienced Business Analyst, Programme Operations Support & Delivery on behalf of our client, a well‑established organisation operating within a regulated health insurance environment.
Please note that due to the collaborative nature of this role, the successful candidate must be onsite in the Dublin office 4 days per week, with the option to work remotely 1 day per week
About the Role
Our client is currently mid‑programme on a major digital transformation replacing its legacy health insurance system and introducing Oracle Health Insurance, NetSuite finance/CRM and member/provider portal systems, targeting go‑live Q4 2026. The Business Analyst plays a key operational and project role supporting the General Manager, Deputy General Manager and Programme Project Manager in programme delivery, documentation, testing, training, data migration and process improvement across the programme.
Key Responsibilities
Programme & Vendor Session Support
Attend key vendor and programme sessions alongside the leadership team - capturing what is proposed, flagging impacts and surfacing alternatives for General Manager and Deputy General Manager consideration
Review vendor functional design documents ahead of leadership sign‑off - identifying implications, open items and decisions required
Maintain requirements traceability and open decisions log throughout the programme - keeping it current as sessions and sign‑offs progress
Testing & Quality Assurance
Develop, document, and maintain test scripts
Execute system and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Support defect tracking, resolution, and retesting
Provide test training and guidance to stakeholders
Training & Support
Design and deliver training sessions for systems and processes
Develop training materials, including user guides and manuals
Act as a point of contact for user support and queries
Documentation
Draft and maintain policies and procedures
Create clear, structured process documentation
Ensure documentation aligns with business and compliance requirements
Data & Systems Support
Work with Excel and other tools to prepare and structure data for database input
Assist in data validation, cleansing and migration activities
Support system configuration and data‑related tasks
Data Migration Support
Assess and resolve substantive data gaps with vendor and legacy system owner (as relevant)
Support Data Migration strategy including reconciliations and optimisations at each stage
Project Involvement
Attend project meetings and contribute to discussions
Capture requirements, actions, and decisions
Identify shortcomings, document and address with Deputy General Manager or General Manager or Project Manager ahead of the next meeting
Follow up on assigned tasks and ensure timely completion
Stakeholder Coordination
Collaborate with business users, IT teams, and project stakeholders
Communicate updates, risks, and issues effectively
Ensure alignment between business needs and system functionality
Skills & Experience
Experienced Business Analyst on systems integration and deployment programmes - regulated environment is ideal
Experience with testing methodologies and tools, UAT planning and test script design; co‑ordinating business‑led testing across multiple systems
Strong process documentation and analytical review skills - comfortable working through vendor design documents and identifying relevant impacts
Advanced skills in Excel and data handling; experience preparing structured data for migration or system input
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to work alongside senior business leadership and hold their own in vendor sessions
Experience in training design and delivery; able to create and optimise user guides, process documentation and training materials for go‑live (not from scratch)
Health insurance, private medical insurance or membership management experience
Familiarity with Oracle, NetSuite, Sage or equivalent ERP / health insurance platform
Irish public sector, mutual or society experience
IIBA certification (CBAP or equivalent)
Engagement
Reporting to the Project Manager, this contract is being offered on a 6‑month basis. Please note that due to the collaborative nature of this role, you must be available onsite in Dublin 4 days per week with the option to work remotely 1 day per week.
