OverviewWe’ve partnered with a large international organisation headquartered in Dublin to support the appointment of a Tax Accounting Manager into a well‑established Group Tax function. This is a newly created position, driven by growth and increased reporting requirements, and sits within a tax‑accounting‑focused team rather than advisory or strategy. This opportunity will appeal to someone who genuinely enjoys:tax accounting and reportingworking with numbers, controls and analysisseeing how tax flows through the financial statementsThe roleThe role supports US GAAP tax reporting, playing a key part in the quarterly close process. It involves analysing the effective tax rate, preparing tax provisions and supporting forecasting activities. The position contributes to the Group’s Pillar II obligations and operates within a SOX‑controlled reporting environment. You’ll work in close collaboration with Group Finance and international tax teams across the business. This is a sole‑contributor role, offering strong ownership, responsibility and visibility.Ideal backgroundThe role is best suited to someone who is ACA‑qualified, and ideally Tax qualified. It will typically suit professionals with around 1–3 years’ post‑qualification experience. This opportunity will appeal to someone who trained in tax and is interested in the reporting and tax accounting side of the role, rather than a purely compliance‑focused position.Exposure to US GAAP would be an advantage, but it’s not a prerequisite for the role.If you’re tax‑trained and feel most engaged when you’re in the numbers, not the advisory side, this could be a very natural next step.
