We are recruiting an experienced and driven Operations Manager to join our leadership team at The Ardilaun Hotel.
This is a key management role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the hotel, delivering service excellence across all departments, and supporting the General Manager in driving standards, guest satisfaction, and team development.
Key Responsibilities Lead and support the daily operation of all hotel departments, ensuring a consistently high level of service across accommodation, food beverage, leisure, front office, and events.
Maintain and improve 4-star standards throughout the property, focusing on guest experience, presentation, productivity, and staff engagement.
Manage department managers and supervisors, ensuring effective communication, training, rostering, and performance management.
Monitor guest feedback through online reviews, and direct interactions, taking proactive steps to address issues and drive improvements.
Work closely with the GM to implement operational strategies, control costs, manage budgets, meet KPIs, and achieve revenue targets.
Oversee health safety, compliance, fire procedures, and all statutory requirements.
Support the hotel's busy F B, banqueting, and conference operations as required.
Ensure smooth and efficient operations during peak periods, events, weddings, and corporate functions.
Be a visible presence throughout the hotel, leading by example.
Requirements Previous experience as an Operations Manager, or senior hotel management role in a 4-star or equivalent property.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and develop diverse teams.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities.
A passion for hospitality, guest experience, and maintaining high standards.
Financial awareness with experience in budgeting, cost control, and operational planning.
Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and peak periods as required.
A hands-on, positive attitude and the ability to adapt quickly.
