One of Ireland’s leading healthcare sales, marketing and distribution companies is seeking a Territory Manager to join their Skincare and Beauty sales team for the North and North West region. This is an exciting time to join this well-known and established business as it embarks on a new period of growth.The Territory Manager will call on a varied customer base across the assigned region including pharmacies, clinics, salons, retail partners and other relevant sales channels. They will manage their territory and customer base, ensuring delivery of strong sales growth in each account (year on year and to budget) and enhancement of the company’s reputation and its represented brands in accordance with business plans and strategic direction.As a result, the individual will have responsibility for sales, listings, distribution, in-store merchandising, planogram implementation and compliance, standard primary and incremental secondary space, permanent availability of defined must-stock SKUs, implementation of promotions, training, competitor and market analysis, and other related activities.They will also be responsible for developing new business opportunities, opening new customer accounts and expanding existing ones. An active new business development pipeline is required to be developed, implemented and maintained.All performance will be measured and evaluated against clearly defined role KPIs.Key ResponsibilitiesDriving Sales – Selling In and Selling OutDeliver strong year-on-year growth by achieving individual account and overall territory targetsBuild strong relationships and influence key stakeholders within the customer baseDrive rate of sell-in to trade customers and proactively influence sell-out to end consumers using proven sales techniquesMaintain strong relationships with pharmacies, skincare clinics, beauty professionals and retail partnersIdentify incremental sales opportunities and, where additional investment is required, present a clear business rationale to managementIdentify new leads and business opportunities within the territory and convert them into salesTerritory and Account ManagementOwn and manage a defined territory journey plan and call frequency scheduleImplement company and individual sales plans to achieve territory and account targetsDriving and Maximising AvailabilityEnsure each customer stocks the agreed core must-stock range (all-year-round, seasonal and promotional)Implement agreed planograms, monitor compliance and take corrective action where requiredDisplays & Incremental SpaceMerchandise stock to ensure optimal in-store positioning to maximise salesBuild secondary, seasonal and all-year-round displays to drive incremental salesEnsure correct and up-to-date POS is in place at all timesReporting and AdministrationComplete all reporting and administrative tasks to agreed deadlinesSubmit weekly sales reports and monthly territory business reportsCreate and update journey planning and call frequency schedules weeklyMaintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and stock informationSubmit orders daily and monitor order statusReport on distribution, compliance and account activity through CRM or sales information systemsSkills and KnowledgeAction-oriented: Energetic, proactive and comfortable acting with minimal supervisionResults-driven: Takes ownership of targets and follows through despite obstaclesCustomer-focused: Anticipates customer needs and consistently exceeds expectationsStrong communicator: Effective verbal and written communication with excellent listening skillsStrategically minded: Makes sound decisions using analysis, experience and creativityDevelopment-focused: Committed to personal growth and supporting the development of othersEmbraces change: Open to new ideas, continuous improvement and evolving business needsExperience and QualificationsMinimum 7+ years’ territory sales experience within beauty, healthcare distribution, skincare/dermo-cosmetics or FMCGProven ability to manage accounts, build relationships and influence senior stakeholdersDemonstrated success in new business development and conversionExperience working with consumer-facing brands and executing best-in‑class sales strategiesStrong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skillsProficient with modern selling tools, CRM systems and sales technologiesHighly commercial, analytical and numerateFull clean Irish driving licenceWillingness to travel extensively within the assigned territoryCompany BenefitsCompetitive salary and bonus structureCompany car, fuel card, laptop and phonePensionOngoing professional training and developmentCareer progression opportunities within a respected and growing organisation
