Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeIT Support Specialist - 36 month contractLocation: Dublin WestHybrid: 4 days onsite per week, 1 day from homeResponsibilitiesBe the face of IT for employees, handling technical support requests through email, phone and in person.Manage and resolve a wide range of IT issues, from basic hardware and software problems to complex system issues.Actively manage service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring timely responses and resolutions for all incidents and service requests.Collaborate with other IT teams and external service providers to resolve complex issues and problems.Perform essential IT tasks like user onboarding and offboarding, asset management, and system maintenance.Handle user access and identity management, ensuring security protocols are followed and audit requirements are met.Maintain and update our asset and configuration management databases (CMDB) in line with company policy.Oversee the entire lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement and deployment to retirement and data wiping.Ensure our asset inventory is accurate and regularly updated.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar IT service desk or support role.Experience with SLA management and a strong understanding of ITIL principles.Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365 (including Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online).Experience with Active Directory administration.Strong technical skills in troubleshooting hardware (laptops, printers, mobile devices) and software issues.Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical information to non-technical users.Nice to HaveAn IT-related qualification (e.g., MCSA, A+, N+, MTA, or an IT diploma/degree).ITIL or MCP certification would be a significant advantage.Familiarity with ITSM tools.Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionInformation TechnologyIndustriesComputer and Network Security
