This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage all conference and banqueting operations within a well-established venue, ensuring seamless events and exceptional guest experiences. The client is renowned for its high standards, professionalism, and supportive working environment.
Key Duties
* Oversee all conference, events, and banqueting operations.
* Plan and manage events from initial enquiry to execution, ensuring client satisfaction.
* Lead, coach, and motivate the banqueting and events team.
* Manage inventory, stock control, and supplier relationships for events.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Assist in budgeting, cost control, and departmental performance monitoring.
* Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement event strategies.
Requirements
* Proven experience in managing conferences, banqueting, or events within hospitality.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences consistently.
* Excellent planning, budgeting, and operational management skills.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and event-specific hours.
* Living in Ireland with the right to work in ROI.
* Visa and relocation packages are not provided.
