My client, awell established mid-size Main Contractor, is seeking aProject Manager (Building Experience) with over 5 years of experience managing projects. This role presents an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal part in the oversight and management of high-profile apartment and housing projects located in North and West Dublin. Responsibilities: Develop and update the master construction programme with the Contracts Manager, ensuring projects meet key milestones. Determine staff resources for the project and communicate effectively with your team. Implement the Safety System and establish an excellent safety culture on the project. Manage project quality over the lifecycle and ensure build quality meets expectations. Ensure project costs are managed and prelims/packages are tightly controlled. Work with the commercial team to deliver agreed commercial objectives for the project. Maintain positive relationships with the client team through concise project controls and reporting, keeping them informed of all risks operationally and commercially, including delays and potential claims. Requirements: Third-level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. 5+ years experience as a Project Manager or a Senior Engineer looking to progress into a Project Management role. Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver complex projects. Strong numeracy and report writing skills. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders. Understanding of commercial realities and ability to propose cost-effective solutions.
