Radisson RED Galway is a new and exciting addition to Galway City. It is the first Radisson RED property in Ireland and a welcomed addition to the city. We are searching for a diligent and efficient Reservations Agent to join our team at Radisson RED Galway.

Job Description


* Greets guests over the phone in a friendly, courteous manner.
* Records reservation information accurately; identifies and records group and transient business codes.
* Informs other departments of VIP arrivals.
* Identifies commissionable reservations and secures required information.
* Records and processes deposit information
* Identifies and records special billing instructions
* Files all reservations in a systematic order for easy referral
* Contributes to maximum occupancy of the hotel by assisting in maintaining accurate inventory control for rooms.
* Records requests for special accommodations and suites
* Assists with the preparation of the four-day forecast and VIP list
* Achieves maximum occupancy and average rate by utilizing yield management.
* Uses up-selling techniques.
* Handles all special requests appropriately.
* Pre-blocks all special requests or VIP accommodations accurately
* Keeps Space Controller informed of new group bookings.
* Utilises guest history files for personalised service at the hotel.
* Maximises customer satisfaction and hotel revenue by promoting hotel restaurants and other services and facilities to guests.
* Deals with assigned incoming correspondence, emails, and reservation messages in a timely and accurate manner.
* Balancing rooms to ensure maximized revenue potential.
* Is responsible for looking after both individual reservations as well as Group bookings from enquiry level all the way to invoicing.
* Ensure all necessary back up documentation relating to groups and individuals is clearly filed and accessible.
* Management of 3rd Party sites including but not limited to and Expedia.
* Importing Rooming lists
* Maintaining a clean and correct PMS System
* Assisting with, and/ or Managing Out bookings of groups or individuals where required.
* Liaise daily with Front Office team to ensure smooth delivery of bookings and ensure guest satisfaction
* Inter departmental communication were necessary
* Other duties as required.
