Financial Controller Opportunity
This is a chance to join a successful construction company as a Financial Controller, with a view to stepping into a director and potentially partnership role. The current Finance Director is due to retire, creating an opportunity for the right candidate to take on this key position.
Responsibilities include working closely with the current Finance Director to understand the day-to-day running of the business, managing and developing two financial assistants, and owning various financial tasks such as payroll, banking relationships, and board reporting.
The ideal candidate will have accountancy qualifications, experience in the construction sector, and strong communication skills. They will be comfortable working in a small company where each person has multiple responsibilities and will be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop two financial assistants
* Owning payroll, banking relationships, and board reporting
* Deliver balance sheet accuracy
* Oversee bank reconciliations and fixed asset register
* Ensure VAT, Tax & RCT are up to date on ROS
