Our company philosophy is built upon three core values: employee experience, customer experience, and standards of excellence.The Killarney Plaza Hotel & Spa, a Four* Hotel located in the heart of Killarney and part of the O'Donoghue Ring Collection, is currently recruiting for a Night Manager to join the team on a full-time basis.The Night Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the hotel during the night, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, safety, and operational efficiency are maintained at all times.What You'll DoTake full responsibility for the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel during night hours.Ensure the overall safety and security of the building, including fire walks, security checks, and compliance with all health & safety regulations (including first aid if required).Lead and supervise the night team, providing guidance, support, and direction as needed.Oversee and manage the efficient check-in and check-out of guests.Handle guest queries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.Ensure nightly duties are carried out in line with departmental and hotel standards.Prepare and complete night audit procedures and relevant reports.Manage cash handling procedures and ensure the security of cash, stock, and equipment.Oversee the setup of meeting and function rooms for the next business day.Ensure cleaning duties are completed to the highest standards each night.Monitor all guests and visitors entering and leaving the hotel.Ensure GDPR compliance at all times.Report all incidents, accidents, or maintenance issues to senior management.Maintain the highest standards of personal presentation, hygiene, and professional conduct at all timesAbout You3+ years' experience in a Night Supervisor, Assistant Night Manager, or similar senior reception/night role.Previous experience leading or supervising a team.Strong knowledge of hotel operations and the hospitality industry.Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Good computer skills; knowledge of Hotsoft is an advantage.Ability to work independently, make decisions confidently, and remain calm under pressure.Flexible and reliable with a strong sense of responsibility.Why O'Donoghue Ring Collection?When You Join The O'Donoghue Ring Collection, You Join a Community Of Smart, Caring, Talented Individuals Working Together To Deliver First-in-class Results.
