Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Safety Specialist to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.
* The ideal candidate will conduct regular site inspections, identifying hazards and implementing corrective actions.
* Prepare risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), investigating accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
* Train workers on safety protocols and proper equipment use, monitoring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
* Liaise with site managers, contractors, and regulatory bodies, keeping records of inspections, incidents, and safety reports.
Safety Management
Advise on best practices for site safety management, promoting a culture of safety awareness across the workforce. Ensure adherence to site-specific policies and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
Requirements:
* A Level 7 Qualification in Occupational Health and Safety is an essential requirement.
* No less than 3 years satisfactory experience of construction work and knowledge of construction methods, site management, and construction design process.
