Role Overview
The System Integration Test Manager will coordinate functional testing activities across multiple product development and engineering teams, ensuring comprehensive system and interface validation prior to release. This role bridges development, architecture, and quality assurance, setting standards for automated testing, continuous integration reporting, and compliant delivery across complex enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and lead testing activities across cross-functional system integration teams for multiple development projects.
Ensure end‑to‑end system and interface test coverage, validating integrations between products and services before client implementation.
Manage and track unit, integration, and regression testing efforts across product teams to ensure completeness and reliability.
Oversee creation and maintenance of automated test reporting from regular builds, providing visibility into test results, quality metrics, and readiness progress.
Monitor and enforce engineering compliance with architecture standards, coding practices, and testing best practices through review and audit processes.
Own and maintain an automated test suite to support traceability and auditable compliance of product implementations with technical specifications.
Collaborate closely with software developers, analysts, product owners, and end users to validate scope, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Drive continuous improvement across test automation frameworks, tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
Skills & Experience Required
7+ years' experience in system integration testing or software quality management, ideally in an enterprise or multi-product environment.
Proven experience coordinating test execution across cross‑functional teams.
Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, and systems integration principles.
Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, or PyTest) and reporting tools within CI/CD pipelines.
Competence with build and deployment automation tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, etc.).
Excellent understanding of testing methodologies (unit, integration, regression, performance).
Strong analytical and communication skills, able to liaise effectively between technical and business stakeholders.
Experience conducting audits or reviews for compliance with development standards and technical documentation.
Desirable
Knowledge of DevOps and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with AI-assisted testing or data-driven quality assurance.
Exposure to regulated or safety‑critical systems where traceability and validation are essential.
