Overview
We are seeking a driven and commercially focused National / Key Account Manager to join our client’s team. This role offers the opportunity to lead customer relationships, grow sales, and shape the category within the grocery retail sector.
Travel: Some national & international travel required
What You’ll Do
* Manage and grow key retail accounts, achieving sales targets and category growth.
* Develop and implement account plans, promotional activity, and seasonal ranges (e.g. Christmas, Mother’s Day, Easter).
* Negotiate pricing, prepare weekly price lists, and forecast sales.
* Oversee stock forecasting and ordering in line with customer demand.
* Collaborate with commercial, procurement, operations, finance, and suppliers to deliver customer excellence.
* Manage financial processes including promotional planning, pricing, invoice queries, and cost reviews.
* Support NPD and innovation for seasonal product launches.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as a National or Key Account Manager, ideally with Irish grocery retailers.
* Strong commercial and financial acumen.
* Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
* IT proficiency, particularly Excel.
* Interest or knowledge in horticulture is a plus.
