Job Title: Transport Operations Manager
We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as a Transport Operations Manager. This role will be responsible for overseeing the transportation of goods across the country, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing large teams, providing high levels of customer service, and coaching and developing staff. They will also have excellent IT skills, including familiarity with telematics and associated technology.
The ideal candidate will be able to motivate and inspire their team to deliver results, while also being adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
The role will involve:
* Monitoring and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) through effective management of direct reports
* Recruiting, developing, and managing direct reports to support business KPIs
* Holding full accountability and responsibility for the performance of own department(s)
* Collaborating with other business functions to build alignment and deliver overall business results
