Customer Delivery Driver (25 – 30 Hours) – Galway SC
At Tesco we are looking for Customer Delivery Drivers to join our team. As the first face our customers see, you will deliver the home shopping experience while loading, routing, driving safely and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
* Provide an excellent home shopping experience by putting our customers at the heart of everything we do.
* Load the van and check it for roadworthiness.
* Understand the schedule and route that has been calculated for you.
* Look presentable in your uniform, ready to help our customers.
* Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
* Show courtesy to all road users.
* Serve your customer with a smile and greet them by name.
* Takes care of your customer’s deliveries as if they were your own.
Qualifications
* Full Irish or EU driving licence (manual or automatic) for at least 2 years with no more than 3 penalty points.
* Safe and courteous driver.
* Enjoy helping others.
* Personable with a good sense of humour and excellent communication skills.
* Ability to take the initiative and use common sense.
* Caring about making a difference for customers and colleagues.
* Ability to stay calm under pressure.
Shift Pattern
Various shifts available.

Additional Information
The role is subject to Garda Vetting. Proof of current penalty points on your licence may be required. If you are selected, you will be asked to provide your bank account details before your agreed start date.
