Job Overview As a Senior Receptionist at The Wilder Townhouse, you will be the first point of contact for our guests.

You will play a key role in creating memorable experiences by offering a warm welcome, managing guest requests with professionalism and efficiency, and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out procedures.

Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and professionally on arrival and throughout their stay Manage all check-in and check-out processes using our property management system Answer telephone and email inquiries promptly and politely Provide accurate information about the hotel, local attractions, and services Handle guest requests, complaints, or issues with discretion and a solutions-driven approach Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction Process payments and manage daily cash and credit card transactions Maintain a neat and organised front desk environment Uphold all health, safety, and security protocols Deliver service in line with The Wilders brand standards and values Carry out Duty Management Shifts as required Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in a front-of-house role, ideally in a boutique or luxury hotel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest service Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel booking systems (experience with Opera, Hot Soft or similar preferred)Fluent English is essential; additional languages are an advantage Flexibility to work various shifts, mainly evenings, weekends, and public holidays Skills Hotel reception Making Reservations Room Management Hotel service Guest Assistance
