Job Overview

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to start or advance a career in finance with a reputable company operating across the Agri-Food and Investment sectors.

Maintaining accurate financial records, preparing sales invoices, processing supplier payments, completing bank reconciliations, and supporting VAT returns are key responsibilities.

* Maintain precise financial data and post transactions to the General Ledger using Sage.
* Prepare and send sales invoices and process supplier payments on time.
* Complete monthly bank reconciliations and post journals accurately.
* Assist with VAT returns and payroll processing tasks.
* Support month-end and year-end reporting with senior accountants.
* Provide performance analysis and ad-hoc reporting services.

To be successful, you will need:

* A degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field (or an Accounting Technician qualification).
* Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Excel.
* A willingness to learn and work full-time in-office.
* Familiarity with Sage, VAT, payroll, or journal entries is desirable.
* Experience in bookkeeping, accounts administration, or finance support roles.
