Job Title: Director of Sales and Marketing

About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Sales and Marketing to lead and grow PEM Europe’s sales and commercial function. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving continued growth in our core fastener and machine product lines across existing markets, while leading the sales, marketing, and customer service teams to new levels of performance.
Key Responsibilities
•Execute new markets in geographies and product lines outside of our core, either by acquisition, joint venture or organically developed in line with our clinch product line strategy.
•Develop strategic programs both in Europe and Globally that will grow our markets and market share outside of today's current business level.
•Develop strategies for the outsourcing of new products either in Europe or globally to service the European market.
•Develop a strategy in conjunction with the global team to allow the new products developed by the company to succeed in the marketplace and give the sales team strong clinch focused product to sell.
•Manage the core sales team through the European Sales Director leadership.
•Fully understand, diagnose, develop, and measure PEM market share in EMEA.
•Maintain awareness of and compliance with company policy and safety standards in performance of all job duties.
•Positive teaming with all PEM functions: Operations, Finance, Human Resources and Supply Chain Management. Maintain a strong relationship with all departments and functions to support the relentless drive for profitable growth and strategy execution.
•Report out on the strategic function and development of sales, commercial, market expansion and new products to the senior management team in PEM Europe and to PEM corporation in the USA.
Sales & Marketing – PEM Europe
* Lead the development and execution of PEM Europe’s sales and marketing strategy, aligned with global business goals.
* Drive sustained growth in core fastener and machine sales across key markets.
* Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns and system-selling initiatives in collaboration with the sales team.
* Coach, support, and develop the EMEA Commercial Team, including Regional Sales Managers and their teams and ensure readiness for continued expansion.
* Build and manage strong customer and distribution partner relationships across the region.
* Analyze customer and market data to identify opportunities and shape strategy, and track performance. Identify and penetrate new sectors and geographies in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
* Ensure robust pipeline management and forecasting practices are in place across all regions.
* Support contract negotiations and ensure timely execution and delivery.
Customer Service – PEM Europe
* Collaborate closely with the Customer Service team to ensure high-quality service and support.
* Partner with the Supply Chain Manager, who has a dual reporting structure with Operations, to align customer service with operational delivery.
* Support initiatives to enhance service capabilities and expand offerings to meet evolving customer needs.
* Promote cross-functional collaboration between sales, customer service, and operations to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Candidate Profile
* 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within the manufacturing industry.
* Strong preference for candidates with fastener industry experience and a deep understanding of industrial B2B markets, including distribution channels.
* Demonstrated success in managing multi-national commercial teams, driving growth, and delivering results.
* Proven experience in coaching and developing teams in a high-performance environment.
* Strong commercial acumen, with an analytical approach to market and customer strategy.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Willingness to travel extensively within Europe.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
* Familiarity with CRM platforms and marketing automation tools.
* Multilingual skills advantageous.
* Fluent and High level of English
